The Sacramento International Horse Show is one of Northern California’s premiere equestrian events, and takes place over multiple weeks at the Murieta Equestrian Center in Rancho Murieta, California. This facility features four indoor arenas, 13 outdoor arenas, shopping, dining, comfortable and spacious seating to accommodate 3,000 spectators and VIP seating/dining areas. The show attracts sell-out crowds for the Longines FEI World Cup Jumping Sacramento and other special events. Riders on the international circuit, including Olympic Veterans and up and coming stars regularly attend the Sacramento International on their way to qualifying for the World Cup Finals!

The Longines FEI World Cup Jumping Sacramento is one of only seven World Cup Qualifiers on the West Coast, making this a very competitive event with world-class athletes! The World Cup Qualifier brings athletes from around the world in an intense show-jumping competition, competing head to head for an opportunity to compete at the World Cup Finals. LASHER’S ELK GROVE DODGE CHRYSLER JEEP RAM RIDE AND DRIVE COMPETITION PRESENTED BY THE CHRONICLE OF THE HORSE
The Ride & Drive is an exciting competition in which top riders compete on horseback over a course of jumps. They then dismount and hop into a Jeep and maneuver a course of cones and the fastest rider to complete both courses with the least amount of faults is the winner!


2016 GGT GRAND PRIX SERIES
The GGT-Footing Grand Prix Series sponsored by GGT-Footing is a series of mid-level Grand Prix classes to be held at Regional Standards with $215,000 in prize money. The program is designed to give riders a chance to compete head to head for year-end cash awards. Riders may ride as many horses as they wish but only receive credit on their top placing horse. Young Horse Jumper Suitability Championships

Horses will be judged over 2 rounds by a panel of 2 judges. Horses will be judged on performance, soundness, ride ability, scope and general suitability and likelihood of becoming a Grand Prix prospect. The judges will determine which horses they would like to see in the third round.

500. $4,000 4 year old Championship (.90m – 1.00m)

501. $4,000 5 year old Championship (1.10m – 1.15m)

502. $4,000 6 year old Championship (1.15m – 1.25m)

503. $4,000 7 year old Championship (1.25m – 1.35m)

$4000 Awarded to the Best Overall Young Horse.
